UNREAL Candy...Can "Healthier" candy be good?

UNREAL Candy...Can "Healthier" candy be good?

Can "Healthier" candy be good ? That was the question running through my mind when I received the UNREAL Candy campaign from BzzAgent. I got to try the UNREAL candy coated peanuts free from BzzAgent with a coupon they had provided me but my opinions are my own.

My daughter and I went to our local store where we immediately found the UNREAL Candy display right up front. It was  a brightly colored display piled high with all the different kinds of candy from their line. It was hard to choose what we going to buy because it all looked so good! We picked up some UNREAL candy coated peanuts and a nougat bar.

Now for the test try! Does a candy that claims to be "unjunked" and not full of artificial ingredients, corn syrup, preservatives, and hydrogenated oils  be that tasty? I wasn't thinking so. I mean come on, all those ingredients are what make everything so delish right? (YUCK by the way) I opened my bag and could see a difference right away. They just looked good! I was so surprised at how good they really were. I wasn't convinced that my taste buds were telling me the truth because I was quite hungry at this point in time so I went home to give my mom the other bag so she could be my second opinion.
I put hers in a baggie so she couldn't tell what brand they were. Well mom really did like them. She said they had a great crunch for the peanuts, they weren't overly sweet and that she enjoyed them very much. I knew we had a winner because when I told her they were a new candy called UNREAL Candy and were a "healthier" choice than her normal brand, she said she liked them better! WOW!

So there you have it. When you are out and about or just craving something chocolaty, go give the UNREAL Candy a try. (Remember, they aren't claiming to be a health food, just a healthier product)
You can UNREAL Candy at most retailers near you or check out their website http://getunreal.com/

Veet Ready To Use Wax Strips Review

I was so excited to be able to try Veet Ready To Use Wax Strips through Influenster. I got them free to try as part of the Latina VoxBox but my opinions are my own.

The box comes with 18/40 full size wax strips and finishing wipes. They can be purchased at Walgreens, Target, CVS, Rite Aid and Walmart and have a suggested retail price $9.99.

Veet Ready To Use Wax Strips are specially formulated to remove hair on legs, underarms, and bikini area from closer to the root than shaving for smoothness that lasts up to 4 weeks.

Ok, my daughter and I are always on the lookout for hair removal products that work for us. We usually end up disappointed and a few dollars lighter. We were left with that same feeling with Veet Ready To Use Wax Strips. While it wasn't a total bust, it just didn't do the job to get out real thick hair like we have. The ease of use was great and was not messy. Just 1, 2, 3 and you're done. The finishing wipes we also very nice to get off the residue and make our legs look nice and shinny smooth!

After my daughter and I tried the Veet Ready To Use Wax Strips, I enlisted my sons girlfriend to give it a go. She has thinner, softer hair that I thought would fit a product like this. After one strip I knew we had a winner. It worked like magic on getting all the hair with no problem at all. I was a little envious it worked so well on her! HaHa!

My final take? I really liked Veet Ready To Use Wax Strips but they just weren't for the thick hair type that I have BUT I would recommend Veet Ready To Use Wax Strips for anyone with softer finer hair.

You can visit Veet here at  http://www.veet.us/ to get more information on VEET Ready To Use Wax Strips or any other Veet products.

COVERGIRL & Olay Tone Rehab 2-in-1 Foundation and COVERGIRL & Olay Pressed
                                                                  Powder Review

I was lucky enough to get to try COVERGIRL & Olay Tone Rehab 2-in-1 Foundation and Pressed Powder for free from BzzAgent.

Now, I normally purchase all my foundation and powders at Sephora and would have never given this product a try had it not been brought to my attention. I can tell you that I am now a COVERGIRL convert!

The foundation I tried was Soft Honey and the powder was in medium. The foundation comes in a pump bottle so it made for easy dispensing.
(COVERGIRL & Olay Tone Rehab 2-in-1 Foundation is clinically shown to help reduce the appearance of discolorations over time by hydration the skin.)
I tried to only pump out as little as I possibly could, as a little goes a long way. Right off the bat you can tell how nice it goes on and gives very good coverage. I like the smooth, radiant finish I got with the pressed powder which has a built-in smooth-glide serum and was never cakey.

Overall, I really like the COVERGIRL & Olay foundation and pressed powder and will continue to use it as part of my everyday makeup routine.

COVERGIRL & Olay Tone Rehab 2-in-1 Foundation and COVERGIRL & Olay Pressed Powder are available at all major retailers with a suggested retail price of $13.99
